We could see the little heart fluttering and then they turned up the monitor - wow - a heartbeat! We know so many couples that struggle to get pregnant and we are considering our little surprise to be a complete blessing. People ask us what we want (boy vs. girl) and I really don't mind either way as long as it's healthy! We do kinda want a boy - I've already found the perfect decor - but healthy trumps gender any day. Although, if we have a boy we cannot decide on a name. A girl name? Done. Piper Grey Zimmermann. But a boy? We've tossed names up like Gabriel, Scott, Wesley... but nothing's sticking. I guess we have a few months to decided, but we'll take suggestions! I am so excited that our little one is going to have 6 fabulous aunts, 2 uncles (so far!) and terrific grandparents to boot. I love that we're starting the big family and can't wait til he or she has cousins to play with... (hint, hint...). :)

Us + Baby = 3!
Matt and I just celebrated our 6 month anniversary! It's crazy to think how fast that time flew! We didn't do anything really special - just curled up and watched a movie. Matt brought me flowers though - I love getting flowers! Our biggest news lately is that we are expecting a baby in October!
